Daniel Gospic, spearo of Croatia national team won the 39th Cup of Nations, competition which was organised by Sports and fishing club Udica from Mali Losinj.
During five hours in the zone between the islands Unije, Vele and Male Srakane, Gospic caught 22 fish and three congers worth of 30444 points.
Gospic's team member Radoslav Jakupovic was second with nine fish and three congers that gave him 18998 points.
Giannis Sideris from Greece finished third with 14610 points that he collected with four congers and five fish.
In team results Croatia was first, Greece second and Montenegro 1 third.
Sideris made the biggest catch with a conger of 9400 grams while the most valuable fish was a 1172 grams sea bass caught by Bozidar Radosevic from Montenegro.
Team Mali Losinj, Marin Kraljic, Slaven Cubric and Radoslav Jakupovic won the 55th Cup of Towns, where 16 teams from Croatia, Italy, Greece and Montenegro competed.
In the zone of island Ilovik, Team Mali Losinj caught four congers and 10 fish of 21246 points worth.
Second was Miholascica, Danijel Toic, Danijel Haluska and Boris Brecic with 21182 points. They had five congers and nine fish. Haluska caught the biggest catch, a 14000 grams conger.
Susak, Matteo Vidulic and Branko Vojnikovic finished in the third place with 11 fishes and 17306 points.
Corfu Team of Sideris, Ringas and Peroulis finished sixth with three congers, five fish and 11738 points.
The most valuable catch was a sea bass of 2080 grams caughted by Marijan Zic from team Krk.
